Family-Based Immigration

Foreigners can obtain Permanent Residency (Green Card) through family members who are U.S. citizen or permanent residents. If the petitioning individual is a permanent resident, the beneficiaries are limited to a spouse and unmarried children. Especially, it is not possible for a permanent resident to invite his or her parents.
